From indoor to outdoor projects, House Calls is on a mission to provide people with the friendly advice and motivation they need to improve their homes and surroundings. Affable host Ron Hazelton, now in his 14th season of national TV syndication, provides hundreds of DIY, step-by-step video tutorials to help you turn your home improvement plans into finished projects.

Disc 1
Ep. 1- Ron discovers that neglected gutters can lead to a lot of water in the wrong places. Then he shares a great tip for hanging things on walls and finally, he helps some folks separate their kitchen and family room with handsome columns.
Ep. 2- Ron installs an underground dog fence that's simple, invisible and effective. Then he builds a doghouse that offers comfort, warmth and a bit of privacy.

Disc 2
Ep. 3- Ron tiles a bathroom floor using ceramic tiles. He then replaces a plain hollow-core interior door with something more substantial and better looking.

Ep. 14- Ron tackles a job he’s been putting off for quite a while: re-glazing his 35 year-old windows. Then he shows us how to add a post and beam detail to any room.

Ep. 15- Ron discovers new found kitchen storage space by installing roll-out shelf kits in his base cabinets. Then he repairs an antique using a woodworker’s technique that can make damaged wood as strong as new.
Ep. 16- Ron builds a portable grilling prep station from cedar that’s versatile and good-looking, with plenty of storage space. Then he shares some valuable tips about getting terrific refinishing results with water-based wood stain, sealer and top coats.

Disc 9
Ep. 17- Ron shows you how you can add the elegance of crown molding to a room, with a fraction of the work. Then he takes a look at the classic Adirondack chair and how some Florida students have given it a unique twist.
Ep. 18- Ron turns an ordinary doorway into a graceful, curved archway using a kit that's incredibly easy to install. Then he turns a consignment shop find from a humble piece of cabinetry into something special for the bathroom.

Disc 10
Ep. 19- Ron demonstrates how to apply ceramic tile over plywood floors with long-lasting professional-quality results, how to whitewash unfinished furniture and explains why concrete, terra cotta and other outdoor objects need waterproofing.
Ep. 20- Ron shows us how to install ceramic floor tile over concrete, guaranteeing a long-lasting professional-quality job. Then he installs a paneled wood ceiling that adds interesting detail and a touch of sophistication to any room.

Disc 11

Ep. 21- Ron has his aging air-conditioning system replaced with a new state-of-the-art model that does a whole lot more than just cool the air. Then he shows you how to clean, brighten, stain and seal your deck, all in a single day.
Ep. 22- Ron puts up a stamped metal ceiling for a hot retro look in a kitchen. Then he shows you how you can actually see inside walls and other concealed spaces with a do-it-yourselfer's version of X-ray vision.

Disc 12
Ep. 23- Ron shows us what he has done to make his pool safer for his kids. He then shares his container plant potting secrets and finally, he heads to Maine to help a couple install a cupola - a classy and classic addition to their garage.
Ep. 24- Ron replaces a door that’s sticky in the summer and drafty in the winter, with one that fits like a glove and seals out weather twelve months a year. Then he heads to Georgia to install a range hood and has to cut through an exterior brick wall.

Disc 13
Ep. 25- Ron boosts the curb appeal on his house by adding a lamppost and carriage lantern that brings light and luxury to his front yard. Then, he has to cut down a sickly ash tree but he turns the tree into lumber, which will be used for a special project. Finally, he helps give a couple’s pooch a door of her own.
Ep. 26- Ron makes a furniture blemish disappear in a matter of minutes. Then he converts his ordinary shower into a water massage in less than an hour. And finally, he helps a couple install a folding stairway to their attic.

Disc 14
Ep. 27- Ron creates display shelves that seem to float on the wall and puts in a decorative tile backsplash and exhaust hood that are perfect complements to a newly installed kitchen range.   Finally, he visits the world’s largest rattlesnake museum, where he attempts to overcome one of his biggest fears!
Ep. 28- Ron gives his built-in bookcase some interest and depth by applying painted panels to the back, which create a focal point for the room. Then he explores the intriguing world of painted faux finishes with his friends the Faux Sisters and finally, Ron hits the road to help a couple strip a hundred years of paint off their front door in one fell swoop.

Disc 15
Ep. 29- Ron shows us how he created room to store his garden tools by building a garden shed - from a kit. Then he installs a wireless mail alert system to avoid having to trek to the mailbox in bad weather only to discover the mail has not come yet. And finally, Ron ventures into the fascinating world of stencils and discovers that just about anyone can be an artist.
Ep. 30- Ron shows us a great flooring system that’s perfect for basements, garages or anyplace you want durable good looks quickly and easily. Then he helps a friend build a workbench and storage solution that’s ideal for crafts and hobbies.

Disc 16
Ep. 31- Ron finally manages to get good cellular phone service where he has never had it before ... in his own home. How? By installing a home cell phone antenna. Then he helps a friend add beautiful detail to a room with architectural molding.
Ep. 32- Ron shows us a goof proof way to put ceramic tile right on top of an existing laminate countertop. Then he demonstrates a simple but effective way to make custom sanding blocks to fit any molding. Finally, Ron travels to Colorado to help a brother and sister team add a unique lighting treatment to their living room that is beautiful and unique.

Disc 17

Ep. 33- Ron shows us a way to put down a ceramic floor tile that looks and performs like a permanent installation, but can be removed quickly and easily if you decide you want a different tile or another floor material. Then he installs a “portrait” fireplace – a fireplace that is at picture height - eye level when you’re seated.
Ep. 34- When it comes to home fire protection, smoke alarms are a must. But, as effective as they are, smoke alarms can only alert families to the presence of a fire and, hopefully, provide the time to get out safely.    Home fire sprinklers on the other hand, actually contain a fire and in many cases, put it out even before the fire department arrives. In this episode, Ron shows you how he installed a sprinkler system in his 35-year old home. Then he lends a hand to a couple that wants to turn a narrow ledge in their kitchen into a cozy window seat.

Disc 18
Ep. 35- Ron demonstrates a fantastic way to prepare one of his true favorite dishes, BBQ Ribs.  Then he uses some padding made from Permalite to make his children’s play set safer and finally, he helps a viewer build a small sand and brick patio.
Ep. 36- Ron turns an eyesore of a fireplace into a classic beauty by installing a new mantel and wood surround.  Then he tours one man’s idea of a castle… his home is made up of recycled remnants of two-dozen barns.

Disc 19
Ep. 37- Ron explores the benefits of a whole house dehumidifier. Think your air conditioner can handle it? Maybe not! Then he offers a tip on how to rescue broken ceramic pieces that you might have given up on.
Ep. 38- Ron introduces a new table-saw for kids - one that cuts a wood substitute but won’t cut skin. Then he demonstrates a quick and easy way to repair a common household mishap - a hole in the wall.

Disc 20

Ep. 39- Ron, with the help of a friend, installs a state-of-the-art home theater system, complete with surround sound. Then, it’s Ron vs. the biting bugs as he uncovers a remarkable way to actually rid his yard of mosquitoes.
Ep. 40- Ron turns an uneven concrete slab into a beautiful oak floor. It makes the room better looking and warmer. Then he rolls out his favorite weapons for fighting the war of the weeds.

Disc 21
Ep. 41- Ron demonstrates a great fix for dry-rotted wood that can save you a lot of money, then a step-by-step look at how a granite countertop is made and installed and finally, a quick fix for a wobbly chair.
Ep. 42- Ron will put his kitchen trash can out of sight while keeping it close at hand.  Then he helps a couple build a pergola - an outdoor structure with open walls and roof that provides a cool, shaded place to escape the hot sun.

Disc 22
Ep. 43- Ron shows us an innovative gutter system that never needs cleaning. Ever. Then he shows us how to revive and protect outdoor furniture and decorative wooden objects with a simple push of a button.
Ep. 44- Ron demonstrates a foolproof tool and method for cutting crown molding. Then he shows us how to use oxygen cleaners for outdoor walls, decks, patios and furniture. And finally, ever wonder what tools early colonists had to work with 400 years ago?
